Staff
Led by Directors Bob Vieira and Pat Kenneally, the staff is caring, dedicated, and committed, many being on-board two decades or more. Working as a team, the teachers share their broad range of expertise and experience implementing a developmental curriculum and teaching multi-age groups.
Students
Maple Dene and Moppet School recognizes that children are individuals with unique abilities and needs. Respected as valuable contributors to the curriculum, they are central to their own learning and eagerly come to school. Continuing through Maple Dene, sixth grade students in the Elementary School are senior students—organized, self-disciplined, experienced learners—“at the top of their game.” They are ready to take on the next challenges in life as they navigate their way to adulthood.
Families
Maple Dene and Moppet School’s families are an integral part of our community. Having similar educational values, they are committed to their children’s education and are supportive of the school. Parents, grandparents, and siblings are always welcome and join us for community events.
Graduates
When the school and families work in partnership, children do very well after moving on. Graduates from our programs take with them a sense of responsibility and an enthusiasm for learning, and often stop by to reminisce. School experiences are remembered long after leaving and ties to Maple Dene and Moppet School remain.
